To
create music packaging for the band Def Lepard using a contemporary
version of russian de stijl ideaology and aesthetics mixed with
constructivist principles.
COMMUNICATION
OBJECTIVE
Def
Lepard is a british New Wave Metal band. Their music is a mixture
of hard rock, pop, and heavy metal elements with multilayered
harmonic vocals and melodic guitar riffs.
The album, slang was a new sound that tended to be more alternative
and an attempt to reach a broader audience. It's underlying purpose
ws to rebuild Def Lepard name and make it “cool again”
